Finals Weekend

We had glorious weather in which to play the finals of the knock out competitions.

The Forrest Bowl final was played on the Tuesday before finals weekend between Meena and Sue. Meena won the exciting match with the last putt on the 18th green.

The Foursomes final was played on the Saturday of finals weekend between Mary B and Heather, and Maura and Suzanne. Another exciting match also won on the 18th green by Mary and Heather.

Meena and Suzanne played the Parker Cup on the Sunday over 36 holes. This was a new experience for both players and a well-fought match. Despite having played the day before, Suzanne managed to keep her cool (in the heat) and won the match.

The Scott Cup was also played on the Sunday over 36 holes by Jane and Shanita. Both players have played and won this trophy before. After a well-fought match, Jane was the victor.

The Fullers mixed competition was played on the Sunday between past winners Jackie and Jack and current captains Captain Vic and Lady Captain Sue. Another well fought match, which was won by the Captains with the last putt on the 18th green.
